Wren & Rattan
Linen clothes, rattan baskets and small-batch home goods, from a little shop in Singapore.
We started with one rail of linen shirts and a few baskets from a weaver we met on holiday. The shop is still small on purpose: things made by hand, bought a little at a time, and wrapped by us before they go home with you.

- Washed linen shirt · S$59.00 A loose, easy shirt in washed linen that gets softer every wash. Mother-of-pearl buttons, a chest pocket, cut for our weather.
- Linen shift dress · S$89.00 A simple shift in midweight linen, with side pockets and a tie you can wear or leave off. Falls just below the knee.
- Wide-brim straw hat · S$42.00 Hand-woven straw with a wide, soft brim. Rolls up for the beach bag and springs back.
- Bags & baskets
- Rattan market basket · S$38.00 Woven by hand from rattan, with leather-wrapped handles. Strong enough for the wet market, pretty enough for the living room.
- Heavy canvas tote · S$22.00 Thick cotton canvas with long handles and an inside pocket. Fits a laptop, a lunch and a bunch of flowers.
- Home
- Stoneware bowls, set of 2 · S$36.00 Speckled stoneware, glazed inside and left raw outside. For noodles, salads and a very large bowl of ice cream.
- Stoneware mug · S$24.00 A generous mug that holds a proper kopi. Dishwasher safe.
- Soy candle, pandan and lime · S$28.00 Poured by hand in small batches. Green pandan with a squeeze of lime, about 40 hours of burning.
- Linen cushion cover · S$34.00 Washed linen with a hidden zip. Fits a 45 cm insert (not included).
- Clothing
- Printed silk scarf · S$45.00 Pure silk, hand-rolled edges, a print drawn for us in Singapore. Wear it, tie it to a bag, or frame it.
- Paper
- Kraft notebook, A5 · S$16.00 A5, 120 pages of plain cream paper that takes ink without bleeding, bound in kraft card.
