Help/Getting paid

Getting paid

Your customers can pay you two ways, for invoices, shop and F&B orders, bookings, packages and Learning Centre fees. Each is set up once for your whole business on Getting paid in the sidebar, and they work side by side: your customer picks. The PayNow QR is free on every plan.

The two ways

  1. The PayNow QR we make for you. Your PayNow QR, with the amount and reference filled in, on every bill. Your customer taps I have paid and you confirm. Your PayNow number is in each one’s settings; Getting paid shows where. Free on every plan, with no fee and no limit.

  2. Card and PayNow that confirms itself, through Stripe. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayNow, all through your own Stripe account (HitPay coming soon). The money goes to your Stripe account, then your bank. You pay Stripe’s own fee (or pass the card fee to the customer). On the Free plan there is also a 0.5% platform fee on each Stripe payment; Pro 365 has none. Set up Stripe

What each plan pays

A refund gives our fee back too. When you refund a Stripe payment, the platform fee on the refunded part comes back to you, and a line for it goes into your books.

What your customer sees

When more than one way is on, the pay screen asks How would you like to pay? with a PayNow tile and a Card tile. Picking one shows only that way, with ← Other ways to pay to go back. With Stripe connected and PayNow on in your Stripe, the PayNow tile opens a PayNow QR on Stripe’s page and the payment confirms itself: no I have paid step. With only your own PayNow QR on, nothing changes.

Refunds

A refund starts from the order, booking, package or invoice itself. How refunds work
