What is a free alternative to Shopify POS for a small shop in Singapore?
SME AI Office has a free POS that runs in the browser on a laptop or tablet, with one product list for the counter and the website. Stock, sizes and colours, stock takes and low-stock warnings are free too. Sales paid by your own PayNow QR or cash carry no fee.
Do I need POS Pro on Shopify to count stock?
Shopify lists inventory counts, purchase orders and low-stock alerts under POS Pro, at S$129 a month per location billed yearly. In SME AI Office, stock takes per location, low-stock warnings and moves between places are included on the Free plan.
Does SME AI Office charge a fee on card payments like Shopify?
Cash and your own PayNow QR are free on every plan. Online card and PayNow payments that confirm themselves go through your own Stripe account: Stripe's fee plus 0.5% on Free, and 0% on Pro 365. Shopify Basic lists 3% + S$0.50 in person with Shopify Payments.
Can I move from Shopify POS to SME AI Office?
