Attendance
Staff clock in and out from their own phone. You see who is in right now, who is late, and every hour for the month. Part-timers’ hours and full-timers’ overtime are filled into payroll for you.

Set it up
Each person’s shift. On Payroll, Employees, press the round account button beside their name. Under Work schedule (for attendance) tick their work days and set Shift start, Shift end and Break (minutes). Tick Must clock in / out, and Eligible for overtime for full-timers who are paid overtime. Press Save contact & schedule.
-
Your rules. Go to Attendance in the HR section of the sidebar, then the Settings tab.
- Workplace location check: tick Require employees to be at the workplace and they can only clock in near your shop. At the shop, press Use my current location to fill it in, set the Radius (m), and the Label shown to employees.
- Selfie on clock in/out: tick Ask for a selfie if you want a photo each time. Only you can see it.
- Lateness & overtime rules: the Grace period (min) before someone counts as late, the Minimum OT (min), and what to Round OT down to.
Staff must be within 150 metres of the shop to clock in. Press Save settings. Both checks are off until you switch them on.
How staff clock in
On the staff portal they tap Clock (or the button on Home), then Clock in. At the end of the day they tap Clock out. If you check location, the phone asks to share it, and someone too far away is told how far they are.
Who is in today
The Today tab shows everyone who should be working, with Clocked in now, Done today, Not in yet, On leave and Late today counts along the top. Press Refresh to update it.
Fix a missed clock
If someone forgot to clock, they tap Forgot to clock? Request a correction on their phone, give the right times and say what happened.
-
It appears on your Corrections tab, next to what is recorded now. Press Apply times to fix the record, or type a note and press Reject.
Aisha forgot to clock out on Monday.
Timesheets and payroll
The Timesheets tab lists every clock record for the month you pick, with a total for each person. Change a time right in the table, delete a wrong record, or press + Add a day for a day nobody clocked. Export CSV downloads the month.
When you open that month in Run Payroll, part-timers’ weekday, weekend and public holiday hours, and overtime for full-timers marked eligible, are already filled in. You can change them before you finalise.
Questions
A staff member works away from the shop.
Leave the location check off. It works for one workplace, not for staff who travel. You can still switch off Must clock in / out for anyone who does not need to clock at all.
They clocked in but never clocked out.
The record stays open. Their phone reminds them next time, and they can request a correction, or you can fix the time on the Timesheets tab.
Who counts as late?
Anyone who clocks in after their shift start plus your grace period. Nothing is deducted for lateness; it is shown so you can see it.
