Terms and enrolling
A term is the stretch of weeks you sell: a school term, or a month. A student is enrolled in one class for one term, and gets a seat in every lesson of it that is still to come.

Add a term
Go to Terms and press Add a term.
Type the Name, such as “Term 4 2026”, then the First day and Last day.
Under No lessons on these days (optional), pick a date and press Add for each day off, such as the Saturday of a holiday week. Press Save.
A weekly class has one lesson on each of its days between the first and last day. Singapore public holidays are skipped for you, unless the class is set to run on them. Each term in the list shows how many lessons each open class has in it, and how many students are enrolled.
Once a student is enrolled in a term, its dates and no-lesson days are fixed. You can still rename it.
Sell by the month
On Terms, press Add the next 3 months. Each month is added as its own term, such as “October 2026”. Past the middle of a month, it starts from the next one. Press it again later to add more; a month already there is never added twice.
For a class priced Per lesson, the fee follows the lessons: at S$45 a lesson, a Saturday class is S$225 in October 2026 (five Saturdays) and S$180 in November (four).
Enrol a student
Go to Students and press Enrol a student.
Pick the Class and the Term. Underneath, you see how many lessons are left, from which date, and the fee, with how it was worked out.
Type the Student’s name, the Parent’s name, the Parent’s mobile and the Parent’s email. The email is needed: it is where the fee and the receipt go.
Under How are they paying?, pick Email the PayNow QR, Already paid by PayNow or Paid in cash.
Press Enrol and email the fee (or Enrol, paid). The student has a seat in every lesson left in the term, straight away.
If any lesson is full, nothing is booked. A student is enrolled for every lesson left, or not at all, so nobody ends up with half a term. Add seats to the class on the Timetable, or pick another class.
The parent is filed in your contacts the first time, so you find them there later. Only classes ticked Open for enrolment on the Timetable can be picked.
Joining mid-term
In Settings, under Joining mid-term, choose one and press Save:
- They pay for the lessons left (the default). Joining a 10-lesson term at lesson 4 pays for 7. For a class with one fee for the term, they pay 7/10 of it.
- They pay the full term. The whole fee, whenever they join. They still only get seats in the lessons left.
Either way, a student joining late only gets seats in the lessons still to come.
Getting the fee paid
With Email the PayNow QR, the parent gets an email with a link. It opens a page with the fee, a PayNow QR and a reference to type in. They pay from their banking app and tap I have paid.
In Students, the student shows as waiting. Open them, check the reference in your bank, and press Money received. Paid in cash instead? Press Paid in cash. The parent is emailed that it is paid.
Parent forgot? Open the student and press Email the fee again.
With PayNow Auto-Confirm switched on for your business bank account, you skip step 2: the enrolment is marked paid by itself once the exact amount and reference reach your bank.
What it does in your accounting
A term fee paid is money for lessons you have not given yet, so it goes on your balance sheet as Paid in advance, not yet used, not straight into income. If you are GST-registered, the GST is counted on the day it is paid. Each lesson then moves its share into income as it happens, even if nobody took the register. You do nothing for any of it. It all shows on your P&L, balance sheet and GST return.
Questions
Does enrolling count towards the 15 sales on the Free plan?
Yes. Each lesson a student is enrolled in counts as one sale, so a 10-lesson term uses 10 of the 15. Pro 365 has no limit.
Can a parent enrol their child online?
You enrol each student. A parent can book one trial lesson in an open class on your booking page, at the lesson price.
How do I enrol the same students for next term?
Add the next term, then enrol each student in it the same way. Each term is its own enrolment and its own fee.
I changed a class’s fee. Does it change what enrolled students pay?
No. A new fee applies to students enrolled from then on.
