Questions

Does SME AI Office handle staff leave for a small business in Singapore?

Yes. The leave in Singapore’s Employment Act is already set up: annual, medical, hospitalisation, childcare, maternity, paternity and more. Staff apply on their phone, you approve with a tap, and weekends and public holidays are left out of the count.

Is the HR software free?

HR for your staff is part of Pro 365, S$39 a month or S$365 a year, together with payroll and CPF. It covers the staff app, leave, expense claims, attendance and employee documents, and staff logins cost nothing extra. On the Free plan, payroll and HR cover only you, the owner.

Do my staff need to download an app?

No. Staff sign in to the staff portal with their email and a six-digit code, with no password and nothing to download. They can add it to their phone’s home screen so it opens like an app.

Can staff clock in from their phone?

Yes. Staff tap Clock in on their own phone. You can require them to be near your workplace and ask for a selfie. Part-timers’ hours and full-timers’ overtime are filled into payroll for you.

How do expense claims work?

Staff snap a photo of the receipt and the details are read for them. You approve it, and it is paid back with their next salary with no CPF, or directly by cash or transfer. Either way it goes into your profit and loss under the right category.

Does it remind me before a work pass expires?

Yes. Upload each person’s work pass, contract or certificate with its expiry date, and you are reminded before it lapses. SME AI Office can also make Key Employment Terms (KETs) or a contract from their payroll record.
