Help/POS and Inventory

POS and Inventory

Keep count of what you sell, at every place you keep it, and sell it at a till. Buying stock, selling it, losing it and counting it all reach your books by themselves, at what the stock really cost you.

What you can do

Items and locations

Add what you sell, with SKU, barcode, sizes or colours, and the places you keep it.

Stock in, moves and write-offs

Record stock from a supplier, move it between locations, and adjust what was lost.

Stock takes

Count what is really on the shelf and put the numbers right.

Sell at the till

Scan or tap items, give discounts, take cash, PayNow or card, and hand over a receipt.

Shifts, returns and reports

Count the drawer at closing, void or take back a sale, and see what you made.

Stock, invoices and your books

Sell stock on an invoice, and see how stock reaches your P&L and balance sheet.

How it fits together

  1. Once: set up your locations and items, with the stock you already have.

  2. When stock arrives: record the stock in. It goes on your balance sheet at what you paid.

  3. Every day: open a shift, sell at the till, and close the shift with a cash count.

  4. Now and then: move stock to where it is needed, and do a stock take to check the shelves.

  5. Any time: read the reports for sales, cost of stock sold and margin.

POS and Inventory are one module. Items, locations and settings are shared. A team member can be given POS, Inventory or both.

Without Pro 365 you can keep 5 items. Pro 365 has no limit. Tills, locations, stock takes and shifts have no limit either way.

The till records card payments, it does not take them. Take the card on your own terminal, then record it at the till. PayNow at the till is a code the customer scans; you check your bank before you tap that they have paid.
