Yes. SME AI Office gives a Singapore home food business an order page on its Free plan: no monthly fee, no card, no limit on orders, pickup and delivery slots, a daily limit per item and a free PayNow QR, with every sale in your profit and loss. Cococart has no free online store plan: it is a 7-day free trial, then from $19 a month.
Does Cococart still have a free plan?
Not for the online store. Cococart’s help centre says its free plan and old unlimited plan were discontinued, and the dashboard is now only for merchants on a paid plan or an active trial. The free trial is 7 days and asks for a card. Its pricing page shows the POS as Start for free.
How does PayNow work on Cococart compared with SME AI Office?
On Cococart, automated PayNow goes through Stripe at 1.65% + S$0.30 a payment, and the fee cannot be passed to the customer. You can also add a manual payment method with your account details, which you check and mark paid yourself. On SME AI Office, your own PayNow QR is free, with the amount and order number filled in, and the customer taps I have paid. For PayNow that confirms itself, use your own HitPay account: HitPay charges its own fee and we add nothing.
Can I limit how many orders I take each day?
On SME AI Office, yes, on the Free plan: set a daily limit for each item, like 20 tins, and a full day greys out at checkout so the customer picks another day. On Cococart, setting a quantity for each date needs Online Store Pro at $59 a month; Online Store Basic has dates and time slots but no limits.
What does Cococart have that SME AI Office does not?
Email marketing, a loyalty programme and a CRM as paid add-ons, Lalamove booking from the dashboard on Online Store Pro, and PayPal at checkout. SME AI Office has no email marketing or broadcasts and no courier integration, and it sends no WhatsApp messages by itself: each one is a link you tap with the words already written.
Can I move from Cococart to SME AI Office?
