Where everything is
Open Retail in the top bar. The sidebar has the same seven parts as every business in SME AI Office:
- Today (your POS): Today, Sell, Online orders and Shifts.
- Sell (products and stock): Products, Stock value, Stock in, Transfers, Stock takes, History and Discount codes.
- Customers: Customers and Reviews.
- Website: Website and Blog.
- Money: Sales, POS sales and Invoices. Sales puts the shop and online together: what you sold each day, what sold best and how people paid, with the full POS and online reports one tap away. POS sales is every receipt.
- Set up, at the bottom: POS and stock settings, Getting paid, Shop and delivery and Locations.
- Back office: your accounts, invoices, payroll, GST and compliance, opened right here in this menu. You never leave your business: the menu, the top bar and the address stay the same, and the numbers are the same ones the plain Back office shows. The Back office tab in the top bar opens it on its own.
A team member only sees the parts they were given. A cashier given POS, for example, sees the POS screens but not your stock and costs.
Today
Today shows the shop at a glance:
- Sold today: what sold at the counter today, after returns.
- Sales today: how many sales, and the average sale.
- Online orders to do: orders from your website and shop link still waiting for you.
- Low stock: products at or below the level you set.
Below them are Best sellers today, the online orders to do, and what is Running low. The Quick actions take you straight to Sell, Add a product, Stock in, Online orders and Your website.
On a brand-new account, Today starts with three steps that turn green by themselves: your website at your own link, Add your first product, and connecting how customers pay you. They go away once all three are done. See Getting started.
Get started
Your shop: in Set up, open Locations. You start with one, called Main: press Edit to rename it to your shop, and add a storeroom if you keep stock somewhere else. See Set up your locations.
Your products: add each one under Products, with its sizes and colours, prices, barcodes and the stock you already have. See Products, options and add-ons.
How you get paid: in Set up, open Getting paid and add your PayNow. POS and your online orders use the same one.
Your POS: it starts as POS 1. Open a shift and you are ready to sell. See Set up your POS.
Sell at the counter
Under Today, press Sell. Scan a barcode, search, or tap a product. A product with sizes asks which one; a product with add-ons asks for them next.
Press Charge and choose how they pay: Cash, PayNow, Card, Bank transfer or Other. You can mix them.
Press Complete sale, then print or email the receipt. The stock comes off and the sale goes into your P&L.

Sell online
Open a product and press Sell in the Online Shop. It is listed with the same options, prices, add-ons and stock.
Under Website, open Website. Tick Use this as my website at smeaio.com/s/yourname, tick the pages to show (such as Home, Shop, About and Journal), rename and order them, and pick a look: Sky, Linen, Ink or Pop. See Pages and menu.
When an order comes in, it waits under Online orders and on Today. Check your bank and press Mark as Paid. That is when its stock comes off. See Online orders.

Questions
I used POS and Inventory before. What changed?
Nothing you set up has moved. POS and Inventory are now under one Retail tab, with Today on top and your online orders and website in the same sidebar.
Are my shop products and my POS products the same list?
Yes. There is one product list. Press Sell in the Online Shop on a product to sell it online too, from the same stock.
Can I have more than one shop?
Pro 365 is made for one shop, though it can keep stock in more than one place, such as a storeroom. For two or more shops, ask us about Custom through Done for you.
